Maragusan

After we traveled in Mati City with my friends we continue our journey to Maragusan to visit the Tagbibinta Falls. It is one  to two-hour ride from Mati City to Maragusan. Maragusan is one of the eleven municipalities of Compostela Valley Province and it was subdivided by twenty-four barangays. 

A valley surrounded by mountains towering two thousand to

nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine feet above sea level, the municipality of Maragusan in Compostela Valley is nestled in a rainforest. It is surrounded by mountain ranges so you can find a falls in there, one of the falls you will find is the Tagbibinta falls were my friends and I visited. It is located in barangay Coronobe it was amazing when you will get there because it has eleven falls from above to bottom. You will climb the eleven falls until you have reached the top of all eleven falls. The water is very refreshing and cold the nature beside it is wonderful. 

There are many falls you will find in Maragusan the Marangig falls in barangay Albay, Piyalitin Falls and the Aguacan Spring Resort. If you like to swim in a pool and to see the view from above you must visit the Havens Peak Highland Resort. 

There are a lot of tourist spot in Municipality of Maragusan to be offered. 

For those people who are adventurous and loved the nature, Maragusan is the best for to travel.   

Mati City

The beauty of our nature and its uniqueness catches the eye of many people not only here in the Philippines but also in another country. Many travelers are visiting our country to experience the wonderful places here.

One of the wonderful places they go is in Mati City because of their beautiful beaches and islands. Mati City is one of the surfing areas of the Philippines. They are having a surfing competition every year in the month of October.

Mati City is located in the southern part of Mindanao which belong to Davao Oriental.

In your way to the city, you must stop by at the welcome sign of Davao Oriental to experience the “Kalbaryo” or the calvary of Jesus Christ. It has fourteen stations before you can get on the top. When you can reach the top of the hill you can see the chapel and at the front of the chapel you will be amazed of the beauty of the sea and the island of Davao Oriental. Many people visit the “Kalbaryo” in times of Holy Week for their “Bisita Iglesia”.

Before you can get in the city you will pass by two municipalities first is the Municipality of Banay-Banay after is the Municipality of Lupon and then the city.

You will see another tourist spot along the way to the city, one of it is the sleeping dinosaur which you can take a picture on it in the side of the road. It is an island that is look like a dinosaur sleeping in the sea.

When you reach the city you will travel four kilometers from the city to Dahican beach resort one of the beaches of Mati City.

You need to stay there for one night so you will experience the beautiful sunrise and don't forget to take a picture on it.
